Russell Sewer/Water Department - Wastewater Operator

The Town of Russell Sewer/Water Department is accepting resumes for the full time position of Sewer/Water Operator at Town of Russell WWTP, 200 Main Street, Russell, MA 01071-0131 or email russellwwandw@townofrussell.us

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily testing and operations of the sewer/water treatment plant, record keeping, equipment repairs and troubleshooting, building repairs and cleaning, snow removal. Holidays and weekends are required, rotating on-call nights and working with other Town Depts. required.

Qualifications:
MA Grade 4 WWTP Operator License or the ability to obtain within 1 year
MA Grade 1 Water Treatment License or the ability to obtain within 1 year
MA Grade 1 Water Distribution License or the ability to obtain within 1 year
MA CDL B with tanker and air brake endorsement
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license, with a good driving record
Good mechanical ability
Computer skills a plus
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
