Water and wastewater systems are vital in providing essential services to the communities they serve. However, these systems encounter several challenges that may jeopardize service continuity. These challenges include extreme weather events, failure of critical assests, and malevolent acts. It is crucial to be adequately prepared for these challenges to ensure effective responses and swift recovery, as this responsibility is vital to the sustainability of the communities served.
Join us as we outline the process of developing and implementing emergency response plans, as well as the steps to take during and after an emergency or disaster that affects water and wastewater services. Additionall, we will outline the funding opportunities for which your system and communities may currently qualify.
