Administrative Coordinator - part time

Summary

The Three Rivers Water Department is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to complete the diverse functions of our small office.

General Requirements and Duties

  • Create and send quarterly bills to customers. Issue other bills as is necessary.
  • Accounts receivable.
  • Bank deposits.
  • Collect mail from post office box.
  • Answer phone. Address all customers' questions regarding billing. Defer customers' questions regarding general operations to other members of the staff.
  • Provide accountant with information regarding accounts payable.
  • Schedule appointments with customers for meter changes.
  • Download meter reading data and save that data for both billing and reporting purposes.
  • Communicate and coordinate with insurance companies regarding issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate staff's time sheets, vacation, and sick time.
  • Previous knowledge of Word, Excel and Quickbooks is preferred. Previous experience in billing, receiving, business, and human resources is preferred.
  • Must adjust to a variety of tasks requiring frequent change. Demonstrate competence and professionalism. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public. Successful CORI check required. Work shall be in accordance with the Three Rivers Water Department's Policies and Guidelines.
  • Work will take place indoors. Travel to the post office and bank is required.
  • The physical nature of this work is generally mild and includes pushing, pulling, standing, kneeling, reaching, walking, sitting, and lifting under 25 pounds.

Hours and Compensation

This position includes work on Monday to Thursday or Friday, 8:45-12:15, to maintain consistent office hours for our customers.
