This 3-hour course will be presented in three parts, focusing on three different areas as a result of the Revised Lead & Copper Rule.
Part 1: The Revisions are Final - Confidently Build Your Path to LCRR. With the EPA's Final ruling on the LCRR, effective on December 16, 2021, water utilities have just over two years to build their compliance plans and preliminary service line inventories ahead of the submittal deadline of October 16, 2024. We will provide an overview of how the new requirements will impact utilities most. This session will foucs on the service line inventory components and what tools you may wnat to look at to ready your tool belt for LCR compliance.
Part 2: Strategies for Creating & Validating Service Line Inventory under the LCRR. In this session, attendees will get an in-depth look into the cornerstone of the Revised Lead & Copper Rule - The Service Line Inventory. We will look at the key provisions that will help water systems understand the different strategies and best practices to get started and set a foundation for compliance.
Part 3: Funding for Future Success - Using the Water Infrastructure Bill to Replace Lead Pipes. With $55Billion committed to replacing lead pipes under the recently signed Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, water professionals across the country are witnessing a pivotal moment in our industry's history. And with the finalization of the EPA Lead & Copper Rule Revisions, the funding that will be made availabe to water systems of all sizes will be crucial for ensuring future compliance. We will share how this new funding can impact your system and walk away with actionable insights you can use to ensure your team gets a "piece of the pie".

Jon Garrison has been with 120Water since its founding, serving as an account manager, program consultant, and client success leader delivering executional excellence in water and wastewater programs for the company's largest and most strategic clients. Brining nearly 20 years of experince as a technology project manager, Jon effectively and efficiently guides clients, delivers project results, and provides programmatic solutions to the problems they are facing.
Lowell Huffman serves as th Director of Strategic Partnerships for 120Water. Lowell is repsonsible for collaborating and building strategic partnerships with EPC Firms, Associations, and Product Manufacturers to strengthen the value chain and bring innovative solutions to utilities for water qulaity programs like LCR. Lowell served as the VP of Business Development for the National Retail Hardware Association for 11 years helping independent hardware businesses in rural communities throughout the US. Lowell has also worked for several start-up technology firms to help them grow and scale their solutions. He is working with many state associations to bring LCR education to the forefront in an effort to help utilities get ahead of the challenges with the new LCR Revisions.
Marcus Hagberg is an Account Manager with 120Water. Marcus has spent the last 10 yers working as a consultant and project/program manager for technology startups, non-profits, and educational institutions in the urban resilience, economic development, and technology spheres. He earned his MS degree in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and a BA from Butler Univeristy.
