This is a great course for both veteran and beginner water operators to review sampling regulations, principles, and practices of proper sampling techniques. Sampling protocol materials and procedures will be discussed. This course will cover proper sampling for bacteria, organics, inorganics, lead & copper, TTHM's & HAA5's, and radionuclides. This class will show approved smaple methods with some of the issues found in the field.
Class will be held Live and Virtually on the Zoom platform. All participants will need access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone that has Zoom videoconferencing software installed, and a good internet connection. If you don't yet have Zoom, you can sign up and download here.

Instructor:
John Schwartz, Senior Technical Support Representative/Technical Training Manager, USABlueBook, brings over 40 years of water and wastewater experience to the training room, including roles as a water system operator, a lead/senior operator for both water treatment and distribution systems, and a water treatment and distribution system manager. He also served as a circuit rider, trainer, and technical advisor for the California Rural Water Association. John is certified in Water Treatment and Distribution in California and Montana. He holds a Utility Management Certification (UMC) for Water and Wastewater Management from National Rural Water Association's Water Univeristy.

Individuals registered for one of our training classes, seminars, and/or conferences will be charged the class fee if we have not received notice of canellation at least 48 hours prior to the beginning of class. Anyone contacting MassRWA to cancel enrollment in a training session will receive a cancellation number.
